AkundGeneral Akund derives from Calotropis Gigantea plant. It is grown in South Asia and Africa. It is a promising fiber as a textile. Applications Akund fiber surface is very smooth; therefore it is used by mixing with kapok. It is used for web, rope, bag and paper production.
